Dr. Samuel Donyina-Ameyaw (ex-Board Chairman)
Dr. Samuel Donyina-Ameyaw, the current Board Chairman was elected into the Board of Directors in 2006. He is a senior economist with over twenty nine (29) years working experience in the Central Bank of Ghana. He holds PhD in Economics, majoring in Econometrics from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom. His PhD thesis was on the Construction of a Macroeconometric Model for the Ghanaian Economy. He has had extensive training in Banking and Finance, Projects and Programme Management and financial restructuring programs in the United States of America.

Kintampo Rural Bank Limited (K R B) was incorporated on October 28, 1978 and issued with a Certificate to Commence Business and Banking License under the Banking ACT 1970 (ACT 239) on July 15, 1980 and January 10,1984 respectively.
